HarusTahu.info - Rupert Murdoch and Amanda Bynes had quite the Persian New Year celebration this past month. The two media moguls gathered with friends and family to enjoy a traditional spread of Nowruz and fireworks to commemorate the start of the Iranian calendar.
The Feast
For their dinner, Murdoch and Bynes prepared an array of dishes popular during Nowruz. These included various types of Dolmeh and Kuku, along with lamb kebabs, to fulfill the traditional Nowruz platter. There was also an abundance of sweets including nasib, baklava, and rice pudding. To top it all off, they made sure to honor the central part of the celebration by having a decorated Haft-Seen table.
The Fireworks
In addition to the feast, Murdoch and Bynes also celebrated by setting off fireworks. This tradition is believed to represent the coming of spring and the dismissal of winter’s dark clouds. After the fireworks were lit, the couple and their guests clapped until the smoke cleared.
The Music
Murdoch and Bynes didn’t forget about the music for their Persian New Year celebration either. Traditional Iranian music was playing throughout the night and the couple and their guests sang along to many of the songs. It was a beautiful way to end the evening as everyone joined together in song.
For Rupert Murdoch and Amanda Bynes, celebrating Persian New Year was an enjoyable and memorable experience. From the delicious feasts to the delightful music, they certainly had a lot to be thankful for.
